The Terry Fox Marathon of Hope holds a very special place in my heart. In 2011, I proudly launched Team Luba Beley at the High Park Run. We ran 10K that first year and became the second-highest donor team for the event. That year changed everything.
Following our success, I was invited to become Co-Chair of the High Park Terry Fox Run Committee—a role I was honoured to accept. Each year since, we’ve raised more funds, brought more people into the fold, and had even more fun doing it.
In 2022, we marked 12 consecutive years of showing up, running, raising, and remembering. Alongside my teammate and co-lead David Smyth, we set a $5,000 goal—and with the help of 77 incredible supporters, we doubled it, raising $10,325.
It’s moments like these that remind me how powerful a committed community can be. This run wouldn’t be possible without your continued kindness, generosity, and belief in Terry’s legacy.

I'm Happy to Help Women And Children Escape Violence And Rebuild Their Lives
Because home should be safe—for everyone.
Royal LePage is the only Canadian real estate company with its own charitable foundation. The Royal LePage Shelter Foundation is Canada’s largest public foundation dedicated exclusively to supporting women’s shelters and violence prevention programs.
Since 1998, the Foundation has raised over $24 million, helping more than 30,000 women and children each year. It currently supports 200 local shelters and national partners.
This cause is deeply important to me. From every home I sell, I personally donate a portion of my commission to help fund shelter programs that protect and rebuild the lives of women and children.
In addition to direct donations, we also hold fundraising events across the country—and many of us, including brokers and staff, volunteer our time, energy, and resources to support those who need it most.
Because real estate isn’t just about closing deals. It’s about protecting homes. And sometimes, helping someone find the courage to start over.
