The Terry Fox Marathon of Hope has become very dear to me. 2011 was the first year that I proudly supported The Terry Fox Run in High Park by creating the LUBA BELEY TEAM. We ran 10 kilometers and our TEAM became the 2nd biggest donor for the High Park Run. Due to our team's successful effort and contribution, as Team Captain I was asked to become Co-Chair for the High Park Terry Fox Run Committee, an offer I gratefully accepted. In the following years we raised even more funds and had more FUN!
2022 TEAM LUBA BELEY marks 12 years of participating. The Terry Fox Run in High Park this year was a huge success!!
Many of you already know that David Smyth and I have led the Team for the last consecutive 12 years and many of you have been our supporters for just as long.
When I set a goal this year to raise $5,000 I had no idea how we would get there. It certainly takes a village! This year 77 people made their contribution to our Team's efforts and helped us not only reach but double our goal - we raised $10,325!
Today I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness, generosity and participation in the Run and keeping Terry's legacy alive.
This Run would not be possible without your contributions.

From each sale I personally donate a portion of my commission to help the shelter and these women and children, plus we regularly hold fundraising events across Canada.
